Personal and Family Information
Sis. Georgia E. Vasquez was baptized in Jesus’ name at the tender age of 10 in Earlimart, California by Pastor Florencio Aguilar. Her parents relocated the family from California to Texas where she met the love of her life. Sis. Vasquez has been happily married. This year, she and her husband celebrate 40 years of marriage. Her husband, Joe M. Vasquez, a great man of God who has been pastoring at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle (AFT) which is the 1st Church of Chicago, IL for 16 years and previously pastored the 4th Church of Chicago for 6 years.
God blessed sister and Pastor Vasquez with 4 children who serve God. Joseph is a university student who loves sports and is a musician at AFT. The middle children, Yvonne and Yvette are twins who exercise their ministry at AFT while professionally, Yvonne is an attorney and Yvette, a has a background in education. Priscilla, the eldest is a psychologist married to brother Miguel F. Sanchez. They have two beautiful children, Ethan and Liam who bring so much joy and happiness to the family.

Ministerial Journey – local, district and national
Sister Vasquez served in diverse ministries in the local church but also as Federation President in the Midwest District for many years. She also served as the International Apostolic Bible College coordinator where she continues to teach. She and her husband served as District Youth Pastors for several years. Sis. Vasquez has served as National Dorcas Confederation Treasurer and is currently the National President for the National Dorcas Confederation. She is privileged to be a committee member of the Women’s Ministry Study of the Apostolic Assembly.
Joys
Sister Vasquez enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids. She loves reading, reflecting, and learning new things. She also enjoys socializing with the AFT ladies and with pastors’ wives and enjoys participating in her local church praise team.
Her desire is to continue to serve God alongside her family, and that in the process, model God’s love with one another and guide others to Christ. Her greatest joy is to see souls being saved in the name of Jesus as they enter baptismal waters.

La hna. Georgia E. Vásquez fue bautizada en el nombre de Jesús a la tierna edad de 10 años en Earlimart, California por el Pastor Florencio Aguilar. Sus padres mudaron la familia de California a Texas donde ella conoció al amor de su vida. La hna. Vásquez es felizmente casada. Este año ella y su esposo celebran 40 años de matrimonio. Su esposo, Jose M. Vásquez, es. un gran hombre de Dios que ha estado pastoreando Tabernáculo de Fe Apostólica (AFT), la 1era Iglesia de Chicago por 16 años y previo a ello, pastoreo la 4ta Iglesia de Chicago por 6 años.
Dios bendijo a la hna. y Pastor Vásquez con 4 hijos quienes sirven a Dios. Joseph quien es estudiante Universitario que le gusta los deportes y es musico en AFT. Las gemelas, Yvonne y Yvette que ejercen sus ministerios en AFT mientras que profesionalmente, el trasfondo de Yvette es educación y el trasfondo de Yvonne en leyes ya que es licenciada en leyes. Priscilla la hija mayor, es psicóloga clínica y está casada con el hno. Miguel F. Sánchez. Tienen dos hermoso hijos, Ethan y Liam quienes traen mucho gozo y alegría a la familia.

Jornada Ministerial local, distrital y nacional
La hna. Vásquez ha servido en diversos ministerios en la iglesia local pero también como Presidenta de Federación en el Distrito Medio Oeste por muchos años. Sirvió como Coordinadora del Colegio Bíblico Apostólico Internacional donde continúa enseñando. Ella y su esposo sirvieron como Pastores Juvenil del Distrito por muchos años. Ha funcionado como la Tesorera Nacional de Confederación y actualmente es la Presidenta de la Confederación de Sociedades Femeniles Dorcas. Es privilegiada de ser miembro del comité de Estudios de Ministerios de Mujeres de la Asamblea Apostólica.
Su Gozo
A la hna. Vásquez le gusta pasar tiempo con su esposo, hijos y nietos. Le gusta mucho leer, reflexionar y aprender nuevas cosas. Le gusta socializar con las hermanas de AFT y con esposas de Pastor y participar en el equipo de adoración de su iglesia local.
Su deseo es continuar sirviendo a Dios al lado de su familia y en ese proceso, modelar el amor de Dios el uno con el otro. Su gozo mayor es ver las almas ser salvas en el nombre de Jesucristo, al entrar en las aguas bautismales.
