OUR HISTORY
It is reported in the blue book, History of Women, that since 1918, the women of our beloved Apostolic Assembly, have always been women who love to work and serve for the advancement of the church. Although in those times, there was no one to direct them, they still made projects to raise funds to support their pastor and build temples. They also crafted by hand to raise funds for the church and help those in need. As we today, they also loved to testify and go to homes to invite souls to attend their churches.
Over the years, the women of our esteemed Apostolic Assembly continue with the desire in their hearts to continue expanding God’s Kingdom here on earth and continue to work hard for the advancement of our families, our church, and our missionaries. The world needs Jesus!
Historia Sociedad Femenil Dorcas
Se relata en el libro azul, Historia de la Sociedad Femenil Dorcas, que desde el año 1918 las mujeres de nuestra muy amada Asamblea Apostólica, siempre han sido hermanas que les gusta trabajar y servir para el avance de la iglesia. Aunque en esos tiempos no habia nadie quien las dirigiera, ellas aun hacían proyectos para levantar fondos para sostener al pastor, y construir misiones o templos. También, hacían manualidades para recaudar fondos para la iglesia o ayudar al necesitado. Como hoy en día, ellas también les gusta testificar e ir a los hogares a invitar almas que vayan a la iglesia.
A través de los años, las mujeres de nuestra estimada Asamblea Apostólica, seguimos con ese deseo en nuestro corazón de expandir el Reino de Cristo aquí en la tierra y seguimos trabajando arduamente para el avance de nuestras familias, nuestra iglesia y nuestros misioneros. ¡El mundo necesita a Cristo!
OUR MISSION
The Women’s Confederation have been called to equip our sisters and motivate them to better serve God, family and church. We encourage them to live a life of holiness that will exalt Christ, white maintaining a physical wellness balance. We support the Apostolic Assembly missionaries abroad through our Flor Azul program which raises funds through the diligent work and service of our local ladies chapters.
Nuestra declaración de misión
La Confederación Femenil Dorcas ha sido llamada para equipar a nuestras hermanas y motivarlas a un servicio mejor a Dios, su familia y la iglesia. Les animamos que vivan una vida en santidad que exalte a Cristo, y a la vez mantener un balance saludable en su bienestar físico. Apoyamos a los misioneros de nuestra Asamblea Apostólica en el extranjero por medio del proyecto Flor Azul que recauda fondos por medio del arduo trabajo y servicio a nivel local de las damas.
